Position: 1 Machinist ($28.85 Per Hour) Permanent, Full Time (30-40 Hours per week) required immediately for Millomat Stampings Inc.

Specific Skills

• Study engineering drawings and blueprints, charts and tables and decide machining task to be performed, and plan best arrangement of activities.
• Construct patterns and templates as guides for layouts.
• Lay out reference points and patterns on metal according to component specifications.
• Check dimensions and specifications by using bore micrometer, thread gauges, standardized pins, Vernier Calipers, and other tools to maintain accuracy.
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. 
• Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite.
• Assemble and fit metal sections to form complete units or subunits using bolting, riveting or other methods.
• Set up and operate various heavy-duty metal working machines such as brake presses, shears, laser, grinders and drills, including computer numerical control (CNC) equipment, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill or otherwise form heavy-metal components.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
