Shiwalik Rebar and Dampproofing Ltd., located in Surrey BC is currently hiring 1 full-time Ironworker Helper (NOC: 7611) to join their team on a full-time basis and contribute in success of their business.

Location of Employment: Unit 403B - 7337 137 Street, Surrey, BC V3W 1A4 (The candidate is required to work on various locations in the lower mainland depending on work projects.)

Wage Rate: $ 21.00 per hour, for 40 hours per week

Overtime Wage: $31.50 per hour, above 40 hours a week & 8 hours a day

Benefits:  4% Vacation Pay

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Eligibility: 

·      Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

·      Experience: No experience Required. On-the-job training will be provided

·      Languages: Basic English is required

Job Duties:

·      Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

·      Mix, pour and spread materials

·      Load, unload and transport construction materials

·      Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades

·      Clean and pile salvaged materials

• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
