Salary: $17.50 per hour, 30-35 hours per week
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Secondary (high) School graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or caregiving training
Language: English
Specific Skills:
- Tend to emotional well-being of children,
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home,
- Supervise and care for children,
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals,
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development,
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents,
- Bathe, dress and feed child,
Additional Skills:
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Wash, clothing and household linens
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Child’s Age: School age (6-12 years)
Work Location: Work in employer’s home Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
